Intellectual property rights

Any representation and/or reproduction and/or partial or total exploitation of the content and services offered by this Site, by any means whatsoever, without the prior written authorisation of the Publication Director is strictly prohibited and may constitute an infringement within the meaning of articles L335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code. In particular, the presentation of one of the pages of this Site on a web page that does not belong to Walden Avocats is prohibited.

The databases appearing on the Site are protected by articles L.341-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code, in particular against any qualitatively or quantitatively substantial extraction or re-use of the content of the databases.

As an exception to the foregoing, Walden Avocats authorises the user to download newsletters or other documents that are made available specifically for downloading. In this case, the user may only keep a copy of the said file for strictly personal use. Similarly, unless expressly stated otherwise on each of the aforementioned documents, the user will be authorised to keep a copy of these documents, to print them and to share them provided that they are not modified.

Any short quotation must include the title of the document or page of the Site quoted, the name of its author and, where applicable, the date and publication number of the document quoted.

The trademarks and other logos appearing on the Site are registered trademarks of Cabinet Walden Avocats or third parties. Any reproduction, imitation or use, in whole or in part, of these distinctive signs without express authorisation and in violation of the prohibitions set out in articles L.713-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code shall render the author liable.

Other distinctive signs, in particular company names and domain names reproduced on the Site are the property of Walden Avocats or third parties. Applicable law

These conditions of use of the Site are governed by French law. Any dispute arising here from shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts within the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal.

In the event that any of the provisions of the terms of use are declared null and void or ineffective, such provision shall be interpreted in such a way as to best reflect the intentions of the parties and the remaining provisions shall be deemed applicable by operation of law.

The non-application or the absence of claim of application by Walden Avocats of any of these provisions of the conditions of use or of any right whatsoever shall in no way be interpreted as a waiver by Walden Avocats of such provision or such right.

In accordance with the provisions of articles L. 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, any user may, in the event of a dispute with a lawyer, have free recourse to the Consumer Mediator who will be the national mediator for the Conseil National des Barreaux (CNB) and whose contact details are as follows: Médiateur de la consommation de la profession d’avocat, 180 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France.
